The Birth of Lueur dorée
Lueur dorèe, french for Golden Glow, started as an authentic Raw organic exfoliant line for all women, to uplift and inspire their Raw unique Glow. Lueur dorèe contains fully natural hand-made products, that promote healthy skin; such as, raspberry seed oil, brown sugar, avocado oil, turmeric, and more.
In further research to develop the best products for our clients, we became drawn to several natural fruits that many of us consume, and discovered their ability to nurture our bodies for healthier skin, hair, and nails. Combining both research and personal expertise, Lueur dorèe was birthed, and has expanded its’ brand for both men and women.
About the Founder
At the young age of 6, a vibrant, strong-willed, African American millennial decided to take a stand in life. It all started during a conversation with her mother where she expressed her desire to no longer consume any manufactured medicine. A natural curiosity regarding ingredients used in fabricated medicine continued to develop. The young woman recalls never being able to fully comprehend why they have the effect they do on the human body. As a result, she made the choice growing up to stay hydrated with water, not consume any soda or juice, and to consume more vegetables which led to radiant skin. As a teen she began to do hair removal processes all over her body, and to prevent further ingrown hairs she began to exfoliate to create what she thought was “perfect skin.’ This habit eventually transitioned into a deep developed passion for natural skin care practices, and the initial development of the founders very own charcoal skin enhancer. It assists in creating the perfect “bikini photo” as she would say.
Here we are now, approximately 10 years later… our Founder of Lueur dorée has now perfected the craft of exfoliants and several other skin care products that she is ready to share with the world. “I believe it’s essential that ones’ skin exudes “flawlessness,” whether male or female… Especially as an African American in the fashion industry who has been turned down jobs for being “too natural.” she states. “I want all women and men to know that their skin is RESILIENTLY BEAUTIFUL, and here at Lueur dorée, we have all of your skin care needs to enhance ones’ very own natural glow.
